You’ve found the web site for the Living Church of God – Northeast Area. This site is for the purpose of keeping our members up-to-date with what’s happening in our area, as well as providing links to news of the work and the world. Our library area also provides a repository of information, including sermons, Bible studies, and a wealth of other information on various topics. Feel free to send me an e-mail if I can be of help. Have a great day!

The Hammonton, NJ congregation will be hosting the annual South Jersey Beach Weekend on August 21st and 22nd. The event is open to LCG singles and young married couples. After 2:00 PM church services in Hammonton, NJ, guests will head to Egg Harbor Township, NJ for dinner and fellowship hosted by the Chornomaz’s. After the sabbath, guests can enjoy games and more fellowship. Local members provide sleeping arrangements for the guys, the gals, and the couples on Saturday night. Sunday we regroup for breakfast and a Bible Study, and then head to the beach in Margate, NJ! We are usually back in the early afternoon for more games, more food, and more fun! Cost per person is $20 ($15 for food which includes dinner on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. $5 for beach admission). Please remember that this is a church activity and therefore swimwear needs to be in accordance with our church standards – i.e. modest one piece or modest two piece swimsuits for the girls, and non-revealing swim-trunks for the guys.
Here’s the Facebook link to the event: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=13289263408399

Don’t miss our Northeast Ladies Trip 2010…!
It’s that time of year again when we finalize plans for our annual ladies outing. This year Gloria Rhedey has offered her lovely home, in Canandaigua, New York, for our use on the weekend of August 27-29.
Canandaigua is a lovely city in western New York, situated off Route 90, between Syracuse and Buffalo. It boasts numerous restaurants of excellent quality, art galleries, golf, water activities, and is located on Lake Canandaigua, one of New York’s finger lakes. Canandaigua comes from the Seneca word Kanandarque, which means “The Chosen Spot”. This year it is the “chosen spot” for our ladies get-away. Hopefully you will consider joining us as we gals take a couple days to reconnect with old friends, and establish new friendships in this beautiful setting.

Jeff Rosenthal from the Pawtucket congregation was recently diagnosed with a genetic disorder that has caused osteoporosis in his hips and osteopenia (a precursor to osteoporosis) in the remainder of his bones. He currently experiences pain and a burning feeling in his left hip. Jeff is confident in Is 53:5 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” He is asking for your prayers.
